SMS Communication Policy

1. Program Description
The Greater Southlake Hispanic Chamber of Commerce ("GSHCC") operates an SMS text messaging program to communicate with members and community stakeholders about chamber events, membership updates, news, and opportunities relevant to the Hispanic business community.
2. How to Opt In
You may opt in to receive SMS messages from GSHCC by:
- Checking the SMS consent box on any contact or membership form on our website
- Texting JOIN to (817) 555-0000
- Providing written consent to a GSHCC staff member
By opting in, you consent to receive recurring automated text messages from GSHCC. Consent is not a condition of membership or any purchase.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. You may receive up to 4 messages per month, including event reminders, membership announcements, and chamber news. Message frequency may increase during peak event seasons.
4. How to Opt Out
To stop receiving SMS messages from GSHCC at any time, reply STOP to any message you receive from us. You will receive one final confirmation message confirming your opt-out. No further messages will be sent.

5. Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan. GSHCC is not responsible for any charges incurred by your mobile carrier in connection with receiving our SMS messages. Please check with your carrier for details.

7. Supported Carriers
SMS messaging is supported by most major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others. Carrier support is not guaranteed for all plans. GSHCC and its SMS service providers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Privacy
Information collected through our SMS program is governed by our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your mobile phone number with third parties for marketing purposes.
